A logic level shifter also called voltage level translator is a circuit that translates signals from one logic level to another facilitating compatibility between ICs (Integrated Circuit) with different voltage requirement such as Transistor-Transistor Logic (TTL) and Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS).
