mRNA sequencing (mRNA-Seq) is the technique used for examining the transcriptomes of biological processes, disease states, and over a broad range of study designs. mRNA-Sequencing presents a comprehensive picture of the coding transcriptome. mRNA-Sequencing is an accurate & highly sensitive technique of quantifying gene expression, can identify gene fusions, novel and known transcript isoforms, and other features and allele-specific expression.
