Regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO) is an industrial machine that treats the exhaust gas produced in industries. An RTO is designed to destroy hazardous pollutants and volatile organic compounds coming out of industries, thereby preventing them from polluting the air. It uses extremely high temperatures to neutralize the harmful pollutants. The RTO converts the pollutants into carbon dioxide and water vapor by a high-temperature thermal oxidation process. Pollutants, such as carbon monoxide, oxides of nitrogen, and suspended particulate matter, are treated by using this machine. Further, it is employed in major manufacturing industries such as mining, chemical, automobile, food & beverages, and others.
