Ammonium Sulfate Market Analysis

Ammonium sulfate is manufactured as a byproduct of industrial processes including caprolactam and coke oven production and it is an inorganic compound. It can also be produced synthetically using sulfuric acid and pure ammonia. Majority of commercially available products is obtained during the caprolactam oxidation process.

Ammonium sulfate was one of the first and most widely used nitrogen fertilizers for crop production. It is now less common but especially valuable where both nitrogen and sulfur are required. Its high solubility provides versatility for several agricultural applications.
