Antimicrobial regenerative wound matrix is a vital part of wound care management. It is an extracellular matrix (ECM) based scaffold with biodegradability characteristics and very high biocompatibility properties for tissue regeneration. ECM is a complex of proteins, particularly collagenous, supporting the incorporation of growth factors and forming 3D structures.
