Comparator is an electronic device that is used in comparing two voltages or currents resulting in digital signals in binary form such as 0, 1 to indicate which is larger. If voltage 1 is greater than voltage 2, then the output is zero and if the voltage 2 is greater than voltage 1, then the output is positive, for example 1.
