Pigment dispersion is the process of breaking pigment agglomerates into primary particles. The process involves three steps, initial lubrication, separation, and stability. Pigment dispersion includes properties, such as light speed, thermal stability, touch strength, fine gloss, and good chemical resistance, in the pits of its application. It is a chemical used for printing inks, paints, and plastic. The need for pigment dispersion is driven by a number of factors such as increased use of packaging material for food packaging, consumer preference for heat-resistant coatings in residential construction, and increased use of automotive coatings to meet the needs of the sustainable automotive industry. Increase in demand for wood finishing paint and the growth of the construction industry accelerate the growth of the pigment dispersing market. This material is resistant to chemicals, climate change, and extreme temperatures. The most common use of pigment spreads is in decorative layers in the construction industry and inks in the printing and packaging industry. They are also used in plastic, laminates, rubber, and glass inserts.
Pigmentation is the process used in some products to give it a new color. It leads to changes in the color of light transmitted or reflected due to the shifting of the wavelength. Building & construction is the largest finishing pigment industry. The industry is growing in countries in the Asia-Pacific region such as India, China, Japan, and South Korea. Huge investment in infrastructure projects in the APAC region increases the need for paint and integration in the construction industry.Â
The demand for natural clothing is increasing due to high-quality properties. On the other hand, plastic recycling regulations are a major challenge in the pigment dispersal market as plastic is one of the major pigment disposal systems.Â
The market for pigments market is growing due to increase in popularity of cosmetic and food processing industries along with rise in use of plastic, paper, and paper products. Pigment dispersion has low visibility, good weather circulation, quick drying, rapid light exposure, low migration, and areas of solvent & bleaching.
