A range hood is a cooking appliance whose primary function is to remove additional heat and unwanted airborne particles from the kitchen. A cooktop is a standalone stove consisting hot plates or burners, which helps to cook food. A range hood is usually situated right over the cook top or a range top so that it can perform its job more effectively.
