Segway is a two-wheeled, self-balancing battery-operated personal vehicle. It works across most terrains noiselessly and efficiently while producing no adverse environmental emissions. Segway has electric servos powered by valence technology phosphate-based lithium-ion batteries which can be charged. Moreover, it works on the principle of an inverted pendulum, and it balances with the help of dual computers running proprietary software, two tilt sensors, and five gyroscopes. The servos rotate the wheels forwards or backward as needed for balance. The rider accelerates or decelerated by simply leaning forwards or backward as per the direction needed while traveling. Segway features a governor mechanism. When the Segway approaches a maximum speed, it begins to tilt slightly backward. This moves the platform out in front, and leans the handlebars backward towards the rider, to signal the rider to lean back slightly and slow down.
