SVGS F1 model sensors enhance the speed of signal transmission and deliver reliable, extensive communication range thereby allowing users to stay in touch and in control. When the glass is tampered the SVGS Series activates a siren, turns on lights, music or start video recordings as linked to the security or smart home system. The SVGS Series is unobtrusive in design and has three adjustable sensitivity threshold levels- low, medium, high to suit different situations and locations. The SVGS-5 model is bidirectional in nature that allows to set configurations to be easily adjusted through security gateways or control panel. In April 2020, MTS Systems Corp., leading supplier of magnetostrictive sensor technology, launched Temposonics R series V sensors with Synchronous Serial Interface that offers integral cable options suitable for harsh environment with protection of IP68 and robustness to shock and vibration.  Temposonics R-Series V is available in rod style as well as profile style and supports EtherCAT, Profinet and Powerlink outputs. The integral cable options for SSI include a standard PVC jacket, oil-resistant Polyurethane (PUR), PUR jacket with high-performance shielding or Teflon jacket. Temposonics R-Series V SSI sensors are robust, reliable with operating temperature range from -40° to +85 °C.  The shock resistance and vibration have been increased to 150 g and 30 g, respectively. The SSI interface with 0.1 micron resolution provides synchronous measurement to ensure consistent timing for velocity calculations. The R Series V sensors offer information such as operating hours, distance travelled and number of actuator cycles.
