A spectrophotometer is a device that emits electromagnetic radiation into a target and measures the energy target interaction. Spectrometry is a quantitative process used in compounds identification that measures the radiations emitted by a target with a specific electromagnetic wavelength. Spectrophotometers are used in the chemical analytical industry, food industry, and life sciences.
