Velometer is an instrument that is used to measure the speed of air. Velometer is the device that is most commonly used to measure or read the flow of air out of diffusers. Technically the velometer is also described as deflecting vane anemometer. The device gives prompt readings for the speed of air. It is a standard ICP-type accelerometer which provides a voltage proportional to acceleration with the help of an analog integration circuit inside the case.
