Honey is a sweet substance produced by honey bees and some insects of order hymenoptera obtained mainly from the sugary secretions of plants known as nectar. Nectar is a liquid substance produced by the plants in their glands known as nectarines to attract the pollinating insects as well as imparting sugar source for honey. Honey is produced to a minor extent from honeydew, which is the secretion of insects such as Alphids. Natural honey is sweet and flavored liquid food produced by various species of wild bees and domesticated hives by the process of beekeeping known as Apiculture. It is different from the regular honey as it does not undergo commercial processes such as filtration or pasteurization, rather collected and packed directly from the beehives.
